Game Two for the 2023 NorCal Honor Bowl will be a true test for two strong football programs. Both teams know that this pre league game will be a test for the season but are more excited to be part of the Honor Bowl for its educational value.

Manteca’s Head Coach Mark Varnum was honored to be invited to The Honor Bowl and jumped at the chance! The Buffaloes finished the ’22 season 11-2 and many starters have moved on. Coach Varnum has a number of returners as well as a talented JV squad to regroup for 2023. Senior RB Bryson Davis will add yards as he did in ’22 amassing 1202 YDs and 16 TDs. Defensively Senior LB Thomas Perea and Junior CB Eddie Anthony will be a force in ’23. Jr DL Isaiah White is a three-star recruit.
